About

A little about me, the life I’ve lived, and why I believe it’s never too late to start something new.

Hi, I’m Robin.
I’m 58 years young, happily single, and I live in Las Vegas. I’ve started over multiple times since getting divorced. I’ve moved across the country a few times too. I’ve made mistakes, and I will continue to make mistakes, and that’s okay because I learn from them.

I’m not here because I have life figured out, not even close. I’m trying to enjoy the journey. It’s hard as hell sometimes but also satisfying too. On occasion, I wonder why I’m still trying. I’m not a quitter. I will change my path, if necessary, but I won’t quit.

That’s why I’m here building Living Boldly After 40. It’s my latest adventure and one I am extremely excited about. Learning something completely new at my age is scary. I’m doing it from scratch—the website, creating content, editing videos, blogging, and new social media accounts. An entire list of things that I knew absolutely nothing about when I started.

I don’t think you should give up on learning something new. No matter how old you are. Don’t ever stop being curious. That’s what LIVING BOLDLY means to me. Try something you’ve never done. Learn something you don’t understand. Go somewhere by yourself. Change something that isn’t working anymore.

That’s what I am doing. I’m building something new while I am still working a regular job. I don’t know where this is going but that will become part of my story.

Why I’m sharing this.

It’s okay to not have everything figured out first. I surely don’t. Will I? Maybe. I am willing to give it my best shot. I don’t believe there’s success without some failure along the way.
I don’t want to be scared to try something new. If sharing my journey encourages someone else to try something new too, that would be freaking awesome. That’s why I hope that you will come along with me on this journey into the unknown.
Welcome to Living Boldly After 40. I am so glad that you are here with me!

Living Boldly After 40

I’m sharing my journey through life’s changes, new beginnings, and everything I’m learning along the way. Because starting over isn’t failure. Sometimes it’s the beginning of something wonderful.
